House in the country

This is about me finding myself and the story of how I have changed my life, become self employed and how I developed the products which are now my livelihood. Its the story of all the trials and problems and wonders of life that happen. I cannot even think what it would be like to return to the me of 2008 now and altho I am very poor really financially I am so very much happier and quality of life is so much better. And I am closer to being free than ever before in my adult life.

Background

Hi there
I began this blog in February 2008 and was unsure if I would write for long. I was bored at work. Work was a sales job in the chemical industry and totoally unfulfilling but reasonably paid. I have been somewhat slack every now and then but I do seem to be continuing with it and can honestly say I do really find it addictive and inpirational. It all started when I found I had been reading several other people`s blogs for the last 3-4 months and had to make a point to return there to see what happened next. I dont currently have any experience of blogging or writing before doing this and my English grammar was never very good. Or my spelling for that matter so if you do find yourself reading this and it all looks a bit disfunctional I have to apologise for that. Its a learning curve.

As for me, I live in a small village on the border between Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Its very rural but has easy commuting to many local cities so is not really isolated. We have 2 good pubs which was high priority when moving. The house is a complete shambles. We need to repair or replace everything. Thats how come we could move there - no one else wanted the place! We just need to afford to do the repairs but we are slowly getting there. But we have a really long garden. Just over 83 metres which is why we moved here really. There are fields over the road with sheep and cows which is nice and its very green even in winter. Where we used to live is a reasonably large midlands city full of concrete and even by average city standards is very grey so it is a big change.
